Sat. Jan 30, 2010

What a crazy day!! I went to sleep at 3am, only to wake up at 6am to go for my first day of training. We had to meet at Campbell Park at 6:45am. A lot of people showed up and quite a few did not. We had to sign in, get name tags, get shoe tags, listen to some speeches and then we were told how to walk. Heal roll to toe. Plus keep arms always bent and moving. Since I normally walk heal to toe, it was second nature to me. We also had to so some basic stretches, that we are required to do before and after our walk. Once we got to finally walk, we did a 3 mile walk. I was surprised when I made it and still had a ton of energy. Keep in mind, I only had 3 hours of sleep.

After training, around 9am, we went to Running Revolution in Campbell and got some education on running shoes and other necessities. I stayed and got fitted for my new running shoes. I haven't worn them yet, so I will have to let you know how they feel after a full day of wearing them.

So, I went home, took a shower, and went to work. I worked till 2:00pm and then had to meet a client at her home at 2:30pm. Stayed there until 3:20pm, and headed on out to 24 Hour Fitness, where I met with my personal Trainer at 4pm.

After I told him everything I had done already, he took it easy on, so he says, but, he still kicked my butt!! It was worth it.

When I finally came home, I took a long HOT bath, made myself some dinner, and began watching a movie. 3 hours later, I woke up to realize I fell asleep on my couch. LOL I was beat!!

The good thing is, I learned I can do a lot with only 3 hours of sleep.
