Can you believe I ended up in the Emergency Room today!! So, I was complaining about pain yesterday and now I was in even worse pain today. From underneath my stomach shooting straight down my leg. I went into work until 4pm even though I could barely walk or put any pressure on my leg.
I arrived at the lovely Kaisser Permanente in Santa Clara around 4:30pm. They were busy!! I was doubled over in pain as I patiently awaited my turn to go in. Finally at 7pm and me bitching a few times, I got taken to the back. They gave me an IV, gave me morphine to settle the pain, and started their assumptions about what could be wrong with me. I was in so much pain that they gave me a shot of morphine every 30 minutes for the first hour and half and the pain would not subside!! They offered me more, but I was already loopy enough and could not handle anymore.
The ER Doctor was certain it was my psychotic nerve, and kept focusing on that theory. Then around 3am thought it could be my appendix and ordered a cat scan. Cat Scan came back normal, so at 5am, they sent me home with prescription for Tylenol with Codeine and told me no working out for a week. I'm allergic to Vicodin so, Tylenol is what I get.
I came home in pain, took the day off and rested.
